NPFL: Niger Tornadoes sad with defeat to El-Kanemi Warriors

Niger Tornadoes have expressed their disappointment with the outcome of the matchday 12 fixture against El-Kanemi Warriors.

The Ikon Allah Boys were defeated 1-0 by El-Kanemi Warriors in Maiduguri on Sunday.

The defeat ended Niger Tornadoes three-game unbeaten run in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.

“It was a painful defeat on the road,” Niger Tornadoes wrote on X.

“The boys gave a good account of themselves. On to the next one soon.”

Niger Tornadoes dropped to ninth position on the table following the defeat.
