Abia Warriors FC of Umuahia were held to a 1-1 draw by Enyimba FC of Aba in the Nigerian Professional Football League match on Sunday.
The match, which was played in front of a mammoth crowd, saw the two Abia sides compete for glory.
Enyimba took the lead in the 10th minute through Clinton Jephta but Ojonugwa Adejoh equalised for Abia Warriors in the 22nd minute, leaving scores at 1-1 in the first half.
In the second half, the two teams intensified strategies to increase their goal tally but the efforts did not yield the desired results, leaving the scores at 1-1 by full-time.
It was a highly entertaining game as Enyimba supporters who came from Aba to Umuahia with buses drummed and danced throughout the game.
