President Bola Tinubu on Tuesday forwarded the names of three Resident Electoral Commissioners to the Senate for approval.
President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio made this known during the Tuesday plenary.
The House subsequently referred the request to the committee on the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC to report back as soon as possible.
Barely two weeks ago, the president nominated a lawyer, Saseyi Feyijimi Ibiyemi, as REC for Ondo State.
