Edo Queens suffered a 3-1 defeat against TP Mazembe of Democratic Republic of Congo in their 2024 CAF Women’s Champions League semi-final game on Tuesday.

It was Essien’s third goal of the competition.

TP Mazembe then struck with the equalising goal on the dot of 90 minutes through Merveille Nanguji.

The game went into extra time with the scoreline locked at 1-1.
