High Court: Rivers judiciary commences Christmas vacation December 23

The Chief Judge of Rivers State, Justice Simeon Chibuzor-Amadi, has announced that the justices of the High Court will begin their Christmas vacation from Monday, December 23, 2024, to Thursday, January 2, 2025.

A statement from the Chief Registrar of the High Court, David Ihua-Madueny, confirmed that this directive aligns with Order 49 Rule 4C of the Rivers High Court of Civil Procedures Rules, 2023.

The statement further mentioned that the judges will resume court sittings on Friday, January 10, 2025, with a designated vacation judge handling only urgent matters during the break.
