Transfer: Galatasaray interested in another Nigerian striker

Galatasaray are interested in Lyon forward, Gift Orban, according to Fanatik.

The Turkish Super Lig champions are looking to sign another striker following Mauro Icardi’s injury.

Icardi sustained an ACL injury just before the international break and has been ruled out for the remainder of the campaign.

Orban is seen by the club’s hierarchy as a good replacement for the former Argentina international.

The 22-year-old only joined Lyon from Belgian Pro League side, KAA Gent in January.

He has made five appearances for Lyon since his transfer to France this year, scoring twice.
