Transfer: Osimhen not leaving in January – Galatasaray chief, Özbek

Galatasaray President Dursun Özbek has stated that Victor Osimhen will stay at the club for the entire 2024/25 campaign.

Osimhen is on loan at the Turkish Super Lig champions from Napoli.

The 25-year-old has been in good form with the Yellow and Reds, scoring eight goals in nine appearances across all competitions.

There are reports he could leave Galatasaray for another club when the transfer window reopens in January.

Özbek however said the Nigerian will be at the club until next summer.

“Osimhen is our player this season. Of course, all clubs want to transfer Osimhen at the end of the season. One of the most important factors is the formation of spending limits,” Özbek was quoted by Sabah Spor.

“It is too early for that. Our goal this season is to be the champion and wear the 5th star.”
