EPL: He’s quick, hold the ball – Agbonlahor identify player to replace Havertz at Arsenal

Former Premier League striker, Gabby Agbonlahor, has urged Arsenal to replace former Chelsea attacker, Kai Havertz with Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak.

He said this would enable the Gunners to challenge for the league title.

Arsenal have come close twice to claiming the title, but were pipped to the prize by Manchester City both times.

Arsenal brought in Havertz from Chelsea last summer for a reported €75 million.

Since joining the Gunners, the Germany International has played 68 times for the north London side, with 21 goals and eight assists in his basket.

The German forward has been impressive this season, scoring seven goals and providing one assist in 17 appearances.

However, Agbonlahor is not impressed by the German, saying on talkSPORT, “They’re too reliant on [Bukayo] Saka.

“Arsenal are dying for Isak. He can hold the ball up, he’s strong, he’s aggressive, he’s quick in behind and he can score every type of goal.

“Havertz is getting bullied, you don’t know where he’s playing.”
