The economy is in shambles – Davido laments

Afrobeats star, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has warned African-Americans against relocating to Africa following Donald Trump’s electoral victory in the United States.

Media Talk Africa reports that some prominent people, especially African-Americans, have been threatening to relocate from the USA after Trump’s reelection as President.

Commenting on the issue on Big Homies House podcast, Davido urged those planning to relocate to Africa to shelve the plan.

He pointed out that all isn’t well with Africa currently and that the economies of most countries in the continent are in shambles.

“It’s not cool back home. The economy now is in shambles,” he said.

The singer clarified that his statement wasn’t to demarket Africa, stressing that he aims to promote the continent through his music.

He added that entertainment is what’s giving Africa a smokescreen to make it look good.
