Fenerbahce manager, Jose Mourinho, has debunked speculations that he is set to bring Cristiano Ronaldo to the club.
With Ronaldo’s time at Al Nassr coming to an end, it was claimed Mourinho wants to bring his compatriot back to European football.
But Mourinho has joked that the 39-year-old would only visit Turkey for food or to see him.
“News about Cristiano Ronaldo to Fenerbahçe is ridiculous,” Mourinho said.
“Cristiano might come to Istanbul to eat because it’s right in the middle of the road between Saudi and Portugal.
“Or maybe he’ll come see his old friend Jose; we can eat at my hotel!”.
