NPFL: Rangers coach Ekeh reacts to derby draw against Heartland

Rangers head coach Ekenedilichukwu Ekeh said his team’s Oriental derby draw against Heartland was a fair result.

Ekeh disclosed this to the media after the game at the Dan Anyiam Stadium on Saturday.

He admitted that the encounter was intense.

“We came here for the three points, but at the end of the day, we had to settle for one,” Ekeh stated in a post-match interview.

“It was a 50-50 game, a very intense derby. As you know, Heartland vs Rangers is always a tough contest. We managed a goalless draw, and there’s no shame in that. It was a hard-fought match, and both teams left with a point each. For me, it’s a fair result, not a bad one at all.”
