Consider reducing prices of your products, goods – Christian youths to Nigerian business leaders

The Christian Youth Forum, CYF, has urged business leaders in the country to emulate the Dangote Group by reducing the price of their goods and services in order to make life easier for Nigerians.

The Forum made the call following the reported reduction in the price of Premium Motor Spirit, PMS, from N990 per litre to N970 per litre by the Dangote group.

The Christian Forum in a statement by its President, Rev. Joshua Pam, urged business leaders, including other stakeholders in the petroleum industry, to reduce the prices of their products to make life easier for Nigerians.

“As Christians, we are reminded of the biblical principle in Matthew 25:40, which says, The King will reply, Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.

“The reduction in fuel prices will also have a positive impact on the cost of goods and services. As fuel prices drop, the cost of transportation and production will also decrease, leading to a reduction in the prices of goods and services.

“This will be a welcome relief to many Nigerians who have been struggling to make ends meet due to the high cost of living,” the Forum said.
