NPFL: Bendel Insurance not in a hurry to appoint new coach – Club secretary Ihimekpen

Bendel Insurance secretary Charles Ihimekpen has revealed that the club is in no rush to appoint a new technical adviser for the team.

Media Talk Africa recalls that Monday Odigie parted ways with the Benin Arsenals last week after four years in charge at the club.

Ihimekpen said that hiring a new helmsman is not the club’s priority at the moment.

Assistant coach Greg Ikhenoba is currently in charge of the club in the interim.

“We’ve not told anyone that we’re looking for a new coach,” Ihimekpen told CompleteSports. This is a government club, and you know there’s a new government now in the state.”

Bendel Insurance will battle with Nasarawa United in a matchday 14 fixture at the Lafia City Stadium on Wednesday.
