EPL: I hope it goes well for you at Man United – Arteta sends message to Amorim

Arsenal boss, Mikel Arteta, has hailed Manchester United’s new boss, Ruben Amorim.

He reserved good wishes for the Portuguese tactician, who joined the Red Devils from Sporting CP this month.

Media Talk Africa recalls that Amorim took over the reins at Old Trafford after interim manager Ruud van Nistelrooy stepped down.

Amorim moved to England after helping Sporting CP win five trophies, including two Primeira Liga titles.

Addressing the press ahead of Arsenal’s UEFA Champions League match against Sporting CP on Tuesday, the Gunners boss said, “Amorim is an excellent coach, with a special career, who achieved something historic at Sporting, especially in terms of form.

“He has a very nice challenge ahead of him at one of the most important clubs in the world and I hope it goes well for him.”
