NPFL: Ogunbote rues 3SC’s derby defeat to Remo Stars

Shooting Stars technical adviser, Gbenga Ogunbote has commented on his team’s South West derby loss to Remo Stars.

The Oluyole Warriors fell to a 2-0 defeat against Daniel Ogunmodede’s side in Ikenne on Wednesday.

Shooting Stars are yet to record a win on the road this season.

Ogunbote was disappointed with his side’s defeat but praised his players for giving a good fight in the encounter.

“It is unfortunate we lost the game. We were looking at getting it right on the road, yet another derby, we couldn’t get it right,” he told the club’s media.

“We will keep fighting until we get it right. But the important thing is that the boys gave a good fight. We were a little bit wasteful; ordinarily we would have been two goals up in the first half.”
