Bundesliga: Bayer Leverkusen to offer Boniface new contract

Bundesliga champions, Bayer Leverkusen are planning to give Victor Boniface a new contract, according to BILD.

Boniface’s current contract will expire in 2028 but Die Werkself want to extend it for one more year.

Premier League giants, Manchester United were recently rumored to be interested in the Nigerian.

The 23-year-old is, however, not thinking of leaving Leverkusen due to his special relationship with manager Xabi Alonso.

The striker arrived at Leverkusen from Belgian Pro League side Union Saint-Gillloise last summer.

He has scored 20 goals in 33 league appearances for the club.
