NPFL: Niger Tornadoes boss gives update on Okoro’s injury

Niger Tornadoes technical adviser, Majin Mohammed has provided an update on midfielder Victor Okoro’s absence from the team.

Mohammed stated that Okoro was exempted from the team’s trip to Yenagoa due to a minor knock.

The experienced tactician said the player is expected to make a return in their next game against Remo Stars.

“Victor Okoro suffered a minor knock in Maiduguri, he featured in our home game against Ikorodu City but we realised he is exhausted that’s why we rested him for the trip to Yenagoa,” Mohammed told Niger Tornadoes media.

“Hopefully he would be back for the weekend.”

Media Talk Africa reports that Okoro’s absence was felt in Niger Tornadoes 4-1 loss to Bayelsa United in midweek.
