Montpellier star, Adams eager for Super Eagles chance

Montpellier forward, Jerome Adams, still harbours hopes of playing for the Super Eagles.

Adams pushed for an invitation to the Super Eagles last year following an impressive start to life at Ligue 1 club, Montpellier.

The 24-year-old is, however, yet to get a chance to play for the three-time African champions due to the number of top quality strikers in the team.

The likes of Victor Osimhen, Taiwo Awoniyi, Victor Boniface, Terem Moffi and Paul Onuachu are seen as better options to the former Lillestrøm SK of Norway star.

Adams is, however, undaunted and is looking forward to featuring for the Super Eagles in future.

“In as much it is a dream for every Nigerian footballer to play for the Super Eagles, which is for me as well, I try to focus on what I can do for my club and continue to work hard on my game, which to me is very important,” he told Tribal Football.

”It will be sure a privilege to be able to represent Nigeria at the senior level. So, i just wait for the time.”
