FIFPRO announces nominees for 2024 Men’s World XI [Full list]

A 26-man nominee shortlist has been unveiled for the 2024 FIFPRO Men’s World XI on Monday.

It is an all-star side which is voted on by the players and for the players.

It is also the only global award determined solely by professional footballers.

Current Ballon d’Or winner, Rodri, makes the cut alongside the runners-up, Vinicius Junior and Jude Bellingham.

Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have also been nominated.

The team will be officially announced on December 9.

The nominees are:

Goalkeepers
Ederson, Emiliano Martínez, Manuel Neuer

Defenders
Dani Carvajal, Rúben Dias, Virgil van Dijk, Jeremie Frimpong, Antonio Rüdiger, William Saliba, Kyle Walker

Midfielders
Jude Bellingham, Kevin De Bruyne, Phil Foden, Toni Kroos, Luka Modrić, Jamal Musiala, Rodri, Federico Valverde

Forwards
Erling Haaland, Harry Kane, Kylian Mbappé, Lionel Messi, Cole Palmer, Cristiano Ronaldo, Vinícius Júnior, Lamine Yamal
