NPFL: Lönnström hails Lobi Stars’ victory over Kwara United

Lobi Stars head coach Mika Lönnström says the matchday 15 win over Kwara United was a testament to the team’s hard work.

The Pride of Makurdi halted their three-game winless run with a 1-0 victory over Kwara United at the Lafia City Stadium on Saturday.

Peter Onah’s strike earned Lobi Stars maximum points in the game.

Lönnström stated that the team will continue to work hard as they strive to achieve their objective for the season.

“This victory is a testament to teamwork and perseverance,” Lönnström told Lobi Stars media.

“We will continue to refine our strategy to attain our objectives.”

Lobi Stars will square up with Nasarawa United in their next league game.
