Transfer: Bundesliga clubs join race for Gift Orban

Bundesliga clubs Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig and VFB Stuttgart have joined the race to sign Gift Orban.

Orban is expected to leave Ligue 1 outfit, Olympic Lyon, in January after failing to secure a regular playing berth at the club.

Turkish Super Lig side, Trabzonspor, are also reportedly interested in the Nigerian.

Lyon signed the forward for around €14m from Belgian Pro League club, KAA Gent, in January 2023.

Orban has failed to live up to expectations after scoring twice in five appearances.

Lyon are also under pressure to sell players soon to ease their financial problems.
