Transfer: Sadiq keeps mum on Real Sociedad future

Real Sociedad forward, Umar Sadiq has refused to comment on rumours linking him with a move away from the club, Media Talk Africa reports.

The Nigeria international linked up with the White and Blues from Almeria in 2022.

The 27-year-old sustained a cruciate ligament injury on his second appearance for Real Sociedad and missed the remainder of the campaign.

The striker returned to action at the beginning of last season but has struggled to cement a regular playing spot at the club since then.

Sadiq has scored four times in 35 league appearances for Real Sociedad.

He has been linked with a move to another club with the winter transfer window around the corner.

“I don’t know. Let’s see what will happen in the future,” he told Tribal Football.

The former U-23 Eagles star also responded to link with his old club, Almeria.

“With Almeria, it’s always a pleasure. We never know what the future comes with,” he added.
