Former Real Madrid attacking midfielder Rafael van der Vaart, has named Real Madrid as the club every player dreams of playing for.
According to him, even players of Los Blancos arch-rivals, Barcelona, see Real Madrid as a place to be, admitting he does not know the reason behind it.
Van der Vaart, a former Netherlands International, spent two seasons at Real Madrid and scored 12 goals in 73 appearances.
“Real Madrid is the club everyone wants to play for, I don’t know what it is about them, but it’s much more than Barcelona.
“Every player in the world, also the players from FC Barcelona, want to play for Real Madrid. I am 100% sure,” said van der Vaar to TalkSport.
The Dutchman won the Supercopa da Espana with Los Blancos but missed out on winning a LaLiga title.
