Shooting Stars won their first South West derby of the season after overcoming Sunshine Stars 1-0 in Ikenne on Saturday night.
Otakho Aghahowa’s 28th-minute strike separated both teams on the night.
It was the forward’s first goal of the campaign.
Shooting Stars tasted defeat in their first two South West derby games of the season against Ikorodu City and Remo Stars.
The Oluyole Warriors have also now won back-to-back games for the first time this term.
Sunshine Stars, meanwhile, continued their recent poor run with one draw and two defeats from three games.
