Turkey: Injured Osimhen set for spell on sidelines

Galatasaray on Monday confirmed Victor Osimhen has sustained a muscle injury, Media Talk Africa reports.

Osimhen sustained the injury in Okan Buruk’s side’s 3-2 victory at Sivasspor on Sunday.

The Nigerian scored Galatasaray’s second goal of the game from the spot late in the first half.

The 25-year-old left the pitch in the 74th minute of the encounter.

The Turkish Super Lig champions also revealed that the striker has already started treatment for the injury.

Galatasaray, however, refused to give a timeline on when he will return to action.
