Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has hailed two of his players, Jadon Sancho and Pedro Neto, following their performances against Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League on Sunday.
Maresca said he was impressed with the way Sancho and Neto worked off the ball against Tottenham.
Both players featured as Chelsea defeated Tottenham 4-3 in an away Premier League encounter.
The duo were impressive during the tie against Spurs, as Sancho registered his name on the score sheet.
“I’m impressed by Jadon Sancho, not only with him on the ball but also the way he is defending,” Maresca was quoted by Fabrizio Romano as saying after the game.
“Him, Pedro Neto—it is not just about goals and assists; it’s about the way they work off the ball. The sacrifice. Top job.”
Sancho joined Chelsea from Manchester United on loan last summer.
Neto, meanwhile, joined the Blues from Wolves.
