Serie A: Okoye vows to bounce back stronger from injury setback

Udinese goalkeeper, Maduka Okoye is determined to come back stronger from his injury setback.

Okoye underwent surgery for a wrist injury on Tuesday.

The Nigeria international aggravated the injury in Udinese’s Serie A clash with Genoa last week.

The 24-year-old is expected to start his rehabilitation process in the coming days.

“Surgery is done, Big thanks to Dr. Pigoli and his team!

Played the last 2 months with a broken ligament in my hand, for now, I’ll be supporting the team from the stands, recovering and working hard for a comeback in top form!
See you soon,” he wrote in X.

Okoye has made 14 league appearances for the Zebras this season.
