UCL: Man City condemn racist abuse aim at Kyle Walker

Manchester City have strongly condemned the racist abuse that captain Kyle Walker was subjected to online following their UEFA Champions League 2-0 defeat to Juventus on Wednesday.

Walker played the entire game in Italy as goals from Dusan Vlahovic and Weston McKennie gave the Serie A side the victory over Pep Guardiola’s side.

The England international, however, was subjected to vile racism in the wake of their defeat at Juventus.

Manchester City strongly condemns the racist abuse that Kyle Walker was subject to online following last night’s fixture,” Man City’s statement read.

“We refuse to tolerate discrimination of any kind, regardless of whether that be in stadiums or online.

“We will be offering Kyle our full support following the disgusting treatment he has received,”
