EPL: Ndidi sidelined with hamstring injury

Leicester City manager, Ruud van Nistelrooy has revealed Wilfred Ndidi will be sidelined for a couple of weeks with a hamstring injury.

Ndidi was forced off during the Foxes 2-2 home draw with Brighton & Hove Albion last weekend.

The 27-year-old will miss Saturday’s trip to Newcastle United due to the setback.

“He, Ndidi, has a hamstring injury, so he’s not available for Saturday’s game,” Van Nistelrooy told the club’s official website.

“We’re looking at his progress and how he will react to the injury, but it looks like it’s at least a couple of weeks.”

The Nigeria international has made 15 league appearances for Leicester City this season.
