Bauchi’s SSG resigns

The Secretary to the State Government, SSG, of Bauchi State, Ibrahim Muhammad Kashim, has resigned from his position, with his resignation accepted by Governor Bala Mohammed.

His resignation was announced in a press statement signed and issued on Friday by the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the Governor, Mukhtar Gidado.

Following the resignation, Governor Mohammed directed the Chief of Staff at the Government House, Dr Aminu Hassan Gamawa, to assume the role of SSG in an acting capacity.

Mohammed expressed gratitude on behalf of the government and people of the State for Kashim’s service, commending his contributions to the state’s progress while wishing him success in his future endeavours.

Meanwhile, details are still sketchy as to the reasons behind Kashim’s decision to resign at the time of writing this report.
