Sunshine Stars have appointed Abubakar Bala as their new technical adviser for the rest of the season.
Bala will take over from Bobola Akinbola, who had been head of the technical crew in an acting capacity.
The Akure Gunners have been without a coach since their erstwhile handler, Kennedy Boboye, resigned on November 10, 2024.
The young tactician is Sunshine Stars’ third technical adviser in as many years.
Bala last handled Nigeria National League side Doma United.
He has previously managed Katsina United, Niger Tornadoes, and Kwara United.
