Kwara United technical adviser, Tunde Sanni has blamed his defenders for the loss to Rivers United.

The Harmony Boys suffered a 2-1 defeat to Rivers United at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, Port Harcourt, on Sunday.

Sanni said that his players squandered the opportunity to secure a point from the game.

“We squandered the opportunity because the chances came but we failed to take the advantage.”

Kwara United currently occupy 13th position with 22 points following the defeat.
