Zamfara gov assures corps members of safe environment

Zamfara State Governor, Dauda Lawal has assured the corps members that his administration would provide a safe environment for them.

The Governor expressed his readiness and willingness to ensure security and welfare of corps members deployed to the State.

Governor Lawal stated this on Tuesday at the end of three weeks Batch C stream one orientation course held at the temporary orientation camp, in Gusau.

He was represented by the Commissioner, Ministry of Youth and Sports Development, Tasi’u Musa Shinkafi.

He urged the corps members to show hard work, commitment and dedication to contribute meaningfully to the socio-economic development of the State and the country at large.

He said, “my administration will provide a safe environment for the corps members to serve and thrive.”

Earlier, the NYSC State coordinator, Muhammad Auwal Lawal applauded the effort of the State government for its determination in providing all necessary arrangements for the well being of corps members posted in the state.

He also urged the corps members to remain committed to serving their father land and shun night parties and unnecessary traveling.
