Chelsea boss, Enzo Maresca has reacted to winger Mykhailo Mudryk’s ban.

Mudryk was provisionally suspended after testing positive in a doping test.

The Ukrainian international also confirmed on Tuesday that he has tested positive for a banned substance.

He insisted that he never knowingly used any illegal substance.

Speaking on the development ahead of Chelsea’s UEFA Conference League tie with Shamrock Rovers on Thursday, Maresca said Mudryk is innocent.

“We all believe Mudryk is innocent. For sure he will come back,” Maresca said at his pre-match interview

“I don’t think Misha’s Chelsea career is over. I think he will come back.

“We don’t know when, that is the only doubt we have in this moment. But for sure, he will be back.”
