Sporting Lagos captain, Aliu Salawudeen, says the team will work hard to achieve their target for the new season.
The modest side started their 2024-25 Nigeria National League, NNL, campaign with a 4-0 win over Solution FC.
Salawudeen believes that the new-look Sporting Lagos team is ready for the challenge ahead.
“It feels great because we have a new team and young players who are ready to play,” Salawudeen told Sporting Lagos media.
“We have a target for the season, but we just have to keep calm towards achieving it.
“We still have more work to be done as a team.”
