Serie A: Chukwueze will shine for AC Milan under Fonseca – Peseiro

Former Super Eagles head coach, Jose Peseiro, believes AC Milan manager, Paulo Fonseca, can help Samuel Chukwueze become a better player.

Chukwueze joined AC Milan from LaLiga club Villarreal last summer.

The 25-year-old struggled to secure a regular starting spot under Stefano Pioli last season.

However, the winger has featured more prominently under Fonseca in the current campaign.

Peseiro expressed confidence that Chukwueze will improve further under the guidance of the current manager.

“Two excellent players. I trained one (Chukwueze) in the Nigerian national team, and the other (Rafael Leao) I would have loved to have at Sporting,” the Portuguese coach told Sportitalia.

“Extraordinary players, with great quality and potential to grow even further. And I believe that Paulo Fonseca will help them become even better.”
