The Nigeria Women Football League, NWFL, has confirmed the participation of Honey Badgers and Ibom Angels for the 2024-25 season.
Media Talk Africa reports that Honey Badgers and Ibom Angels secured promotion to the NWFL after finishing first and second at the championship playoffs.
The NWFL made the confirmation in a memo at the Annual General Meeting in Abuja.
Honey Badgers and Ibom Angels are in Group B for the new season.
Meanwhile, the relegation of Sunshine Queens and Royal Queens was also confirmed at the meeting.
The 2024-25 season is billed to commence on Wednesday, January 15th.
