The draw for the Carabao Cup semi-final was confirmed on Thursday night.
It was conducted after Tottenham Hotspur edged a thrilling 4-3 win over Manchester United in the last quarter-final tie.
Spurs will host Liverpool in the first leg of their semi-final.
The other semi-final will see Arsenal welcome Newcastle United in the first leg.
The first legs will be played on the week of January 6, with the second legs starting February 3.
Liverpool are the current holders of the trophy, after they beat Chelsea in last season’s final.
