EPL: Ferdinand urges Arsenal to sign Osimhen in January

Former Manchester United defender, Rio Ferdinand has advised Arsenal to sign Victor Osimhen when the transfer window reopens in January.

Arsenal’s lack of firepower upfront has been apparent again this season.

The Gunners have failed to score from open play in their last four matches.

Mikel Arteta’s side are currently third on the Premier League standings behind Liverpool and Chelsea.

Ferdinand believed signing Osimhen will help ignite the North London club’s title hopes.

“Now, you ain’t having a number nine that’s coming on impacting games,” Ferdinand told Football Transfers.

“But I don’t even think you’ve got to buy an Osimhen, although I would buy Osimhen. You’ve got to buy someone who can come in and impact games.”
