Bala Abubakar is set to take charge of his first game as Sunshine Stars technical adviser in the matchday 18 clash against El-Kanemi Warriors.
Abubakar was appointed Sunshine Stars head coach last week.
The young tactician took charge of training on Friday.
Media Talk Africa recalls that Abubakar had previously managed Kwara United and Doma United in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.
Sunshine Stars will lock horns with El-Kanemi Warriors at the Remo Stars Stadium on Sunday.
The Owena Waves have recorded five wins, three draws and nine defeats in 17 games.
Sunshine Stars currently occupy 18th position with 18 points.
