EPL: Haaland gives verdict on Pep Guardiola after 2-1 loss to Aston Villa

Manchester City striker, Erling Haaland has given his verdict on manager Pep Guardiola after the Cityzens’ Premier League 2-1 defeat to Aston Villa on Saturday.

City have won just one of their last 12 matches across all competitions under Guardiola.

They were defeated at Villa Park on Saturday following goals from
Jhon Duran and Morgan Rogers as Phil Foden’s goal was not enough to get a point for the Champions.

Speaking after the game, Haaland insisted Guardiola will find a solution to City’s poor form.

He noted that the Spaniard has won six out of seven Premier League titles in the last seven years.

“Pep Guardiola won the Premier League six times in seven years. We will never forget that, he will find the solutions,” Haaland said.

“We still believe in Pep, and we have to work harder than ever right now.”
