NPFL: Injury ruin our plans against Pillars – Tornadoes coach Mohammed

Niger Tornadoes technical adviser, Majin Mohammed has blamed injury for his team’s 2-1 defeat to Kano Pillars.

Goalkeeper Joshua Enaholo and Joseph Godstime were substituted in the early minutes of the game with Injury complaints.

Mohammed believed that the players exit affected the team’s approach to the game.

Alhassan Rasheed and Ahmed Musa were on target for Kano Pillars, while Aliyu Mohammed got the only goal for Niger Tornadoes.

“We had a good game, but it’s a defeat and we’ve taken it like that,” Mohammed stated in a post-match interview.

“Injury to my players early in the game changed the pattern of our approach to the game and that affected us.”
