Mourinho to undergo surgery – Media Talk Africa Nigeria

Fenerbahce manager, Jose Mourinho, is set to undergo surgery in Portugal due to a health issue.

The 61-year-old will have his gallbladder removed during the Christmas holidays.

This was confirmed by the former Chelsea and Manchester United boss.

Mourinho, who was in the dugout for Friday’s 1-1 draw at Eyupspor, insisted it was “minor.”

He wrote on Instagram: “For those of you that have shown concern, I can confirm reports of my surgery have been greatly exaggerated, it’s just a quick and minor procedure.

“I will resume training on the first day back from the holidays, as always.

“I’ve never missed a session in 25 years, and I don’t intend to start now.”
