Sporting to sack Ruben Amorim’s replacement

Sporting are set to sack their head coach João Pereira.

Pereira only replaced Ruben Amorim few weeks ago at the Portuguese club.

Amorim had left Sporting to officially become the manager of Manchester United in November.

However, according to football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Sporting have already made the decision to part ways with Pereira.

“Sporting are set to sack their head coach João Pereira after he replaced Rúben Amorim few weeks ago,” Romano tweeted on Monday.

“The decision has been made today, as

@Record_Portugal reports. João Pereira will leave the club.”

Sporting are currently on top of the Portuguese top-flight league table with 37 points from 15 games.
