NPFL: Rivers United coach, Finidi demands total concentration from defenders

Rivers United technical adviser, Finidi George has identified the defence as the key area his team improve on.

The Pride of Rivers conceded an early goal in the matchday 18 draw against Nasarawa United in Lafia on Sunday.

Finidi blamed loss of concentration on the part of his defenders for the goal.

“I’m happy that we got one point, at the same time, I’m not quite happy with the way we conceded. We have to do better sometimes,” Finidi told Rivers United Media.

“In some stages in a game concentration needs to be on the high side and this has caused us against Rangers and it affected us in Lafia City again.”

Rivers United dropped to second position with 33 points.
