Ex-Chelsea player Oscar joins new club

Former Chelsea attacking midfielder Oscar has completed a return to São Paulo after his exit from Chinese club Shanghai SIPG.

This was disclosed by football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano in a tweet via his X account on Tuesday.

“São Paulo confirm deal done for former Chelsea player Oscar joining the club on Christmas Eve.

“Done, sealed,” Romano tweeted.

Oscar joins São Paulo on a three-year deal after 14 years away from Brazil.

He left in 2010 to join Internacional following a contract dispute but is now set to return after an eight-year stint with Shanghai SIPG.

Oscar also played for Chelsea between 2012 and 2017 before his shock move to China.
