Lobi Stars have intensified preparation for their final league game of the first stanza against Heartland.
The Pride of Makurdi held a spirited training session at the McCarthy Stadium on Tuesday.
Lobi Stars will lock horns with Heartland at the Lafia City Stadium on Sunday.
Daniel Amokachi’s side are determined to end the year on a winning note.
“We held a spirited training session at the McCarthy Stadium, Makurdi, as we gear up for our matchday 19 clash against Heartland FC of Owerri this weekend,” Lobi Stars wrote on X.
“This game, which marks the last match of the year 2024 and the conclusion of the first stanza of the NPFL 2024/2025 season, carries a special significance.
“The atmosphere at the training ground was vibrant, blending the team’s focus and determination with the joy and warmth of the Yuletide season.
“All eyes are on securing a positive result to close the year on a high note.”
