EPL: Chelsea’s title hope takes hit after 2-1 defeat to Fulham

Chelsea’s Premier League title ambitions suffered a dent on Saturday, as they lost 2-1 to Fulham at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues had missed the chance to go top of the table last week following a 0-0 draw with Everton.

But Enzo Maresca’s men opened the scoring against the Cottagers, thanks to Cole Palmer’s 12th goal of the campaign.

In the second half, Fulham scored twice through Harry Wilson and Rodrigo Muniz to take all three points.

The result means Chelsea remain second with 35 points after 18 points.

They are four points behind leaders Liverpool, who now have two games in hand.

Fulham are up to eighth with 28 points.
