Leicester City manager, Ruud van Nistelrooy, has spoken about the chances of Liverpool winning the Premier League title this season.
The former Ajax boss spoke following the Reds’ 3-1 defeat of Leicester City on Boxing Day.
Van Nistelrooy is the current boss at Leicester City and watched his fall helplessly in the hands of the Premier League leaders.
Arne Slot’s side sit atop the league table, seven points above second-placed Chelsea.
After the game, the former Manchester United’s interim boss assessed his side’s performance and Liverpool’s title chances.
“You never know in the Premier League and many things have happened before,” Van Nistelrooy said on Amazon Prime.
“But looking at this team and how stable they are and the depth of their squad they have a great chance.”
Speaking about Leicester City, he added, “It is up to us to keep developing and creating game plans for every opponent.”
