CHAN 2024Q: Ali targets third appearance with Home Eagles

Kano Pillars midfielder, Rabiu Ali is eyeing a place at the 2024 African Nations Championship, CHAN with Nigeria.

Ali has won Silver and Bronze in his previous two appearances at the competition.

The playmaker is now part of the team that is vying for a place at CHAN 2024.

The Home Eagles will take on perennial rivals Ghana in the second leg of the final qualifying round tie on Saturday.

They held Didi Dramani’s side to a 0-0 draw in the first leg.

“This will be my third time in the tournament finals if we qualify. Of course, I’m praying for us to beat Ghana on Saturday.

The ticket is the first objective. With the quality of players in this team, as you’ve seen in training, I believe we can beat Ghana and secure qualification.”
